My Story
Teaching has always been Kyla's passion. From babysitting to leading summer camps, she always enjoyed helping children learn.
She received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with English as a Second Language (ESL) and Spanish endorsements. She also has a Master's degree in Reading.
She has been teaching elementary students for 10 years. She has taught Kindergarten through 5th grade students in the classroom. She loves teaching young students and seeing them grow and succeed. Her favorite part is when they have the "lightbulb" or "ah-ha" moment.
In addition to teaching, she has been tutoring Pre-K through 8th grade students since 2010 in a variety of subject areas including math, reading, writing, and Spanish.
As a school teacher and tutor, she loves helping children learn, grow, and succeed. As your child's tutor, she will help them learn by creating a personalized plan based off their needs. She will work together with you to support your child's learning.

Group Sessions:
Do you have multiple children or a group of friends who would like to have group tutoring or learning lessons? This is great for young children to learn letters and numbers! Also, great for summer book clubs! Contact me to set up a group session!
